Kanye West Marries In Secret Ceremony, Flaunts Pricey Wedding Ring
It’s only been two months since Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce, following rumors that he was attempting to delay their marriage’s dissolution. But it appears the rapper has already moved on.
According to reports, Kanye wed Yeezy designer Bianca Censori in a private ceremony. Though the couple went all-out celebrating their union, they reportedly haven’t applied for a marriage license, so the wedding wasn’t legal.
However, the couple have been spotted out multiple times since the wedding news broke showing off their new rings. One report by The Sun says that Kanye's wedding ring costs at least $150,000 more than the one he had during his marriage to Kim. it appears to be a 3-carat emerald diamond sitting in a platinum band.
Kanye has apparently known Bianca for several years. She’s the Head of Architecture at Yeezy after joining the company in November 2021.
It’s unclear how long Kanye and Bianca have been together. It wasn’t apparent the two were dating prior to the marriage news. But it appears Ye hinted at their romance in December when he released a song sampling Donny Hathaway’s “Someday We’ll All Be Free.” The lyrics included a line saying “Censori Overload,” a nod to his now-wife’s last name.
It's also been speculated that Kanye’s marriage may have had religious reasons. During Paris Fashion Week, the rapper said he wasn’t having “any more sex ‘till marriage,” which could explain Ye and Bianca’s rush down the aisle.
It's not clear how much Kanye spent on his recent wedding to Bianca, but he’s known to go all-out for nuptials. His 2014 Italian wedding to Kim Kardashian cost a total of $12 million, including a $500,000 dress and $400,000 venue.
But Ye has been facing a variety of legal and financial problems recently, which could explain why he didn’t opt for a highly publicized wedding to his new wife.
Kanye is currently facing a number of lawsuits, including a $250 million defamation case filed by George Floyd’s family.
The rapper has also lost a variety of business deals and collaborations, including Yeezy’s partnership with Adidas, which subsequently stripped him of his billionaire status.
In fact, Yeezy as a brand could be in big trouble, causing problems for both Ye and his new wife, who’s apparently still employed by the company.
In December, it was reported that Yeezy was being evicted from its California headquarters over $63,000 in unpaid rent. Moreover, earlier in the month, it was revealed the company owes the state $600,000 in tax debt.
Despite his financial woes, Kanye was recently ordered to pay $200,000 in child support to his ex-wife Kim for their four kids, as part of their divorce agreement. However, the prenup protected either part from having to pay spousal support.
