Enrique Ricardo Murciano, born on the 9th of July, 1973, is an American actor who became famous for his role in the television series “Without a Trace” in the early 2000s.

Born in Miami, Florida, Murciano is the son of Christina and Enrique Marciano Sr., and of part-Cuban descent. He attended Christopher Columbus High School and went to college at Tulane University in New Orleans. He planned to pursue further study at New England School of Law in Boston, but decided to drop out and pursue an acting career instead.
Murciano moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting fulltime, and appeared in his first movie in 1997 with Sandra Bullock in “Speed 2: Cruise Control”. In 2000, he starred in the movie “Traffic”, and then appeared in the short-lived MTV series “Spyder Games”. His early years in acting helped set up his career and his net worth.
Murciano got his big break when he was cast in the movie “Black Hawk Down” in 2001. It was on the set of the movie that he met producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who offered him the lead role in his new series “Without a Trace” on CBS, playing the role of Danny Taylor, an FBI agent working in the missing persons unit. The show became a huge success, and ran from 2002 to 2009, elevating Murciano’s career status and tremendously increasing his wealth.
After “Without a Trace”, Murciano became a recurring actor in various television series including “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” playing the role of Det. Carlos Moreno, “NCIS”, as CIA agent Ray Cruz, “666 Park Avenue”, and “Power”.
Aside from his thriving career in television, Murciano also has movies under his belt. Some of the movies he has appeared in include “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous”, “The Lost City”, “How to Go Out on a Date in Queens” and “Mancora”, on which he also served as an executive producer.
Murciano’s acting prowess and good looks also landed him in People Magazine’s “The Sexiest Men Alive” list in 2006, getting the sixth spot.
Today, Murciano is still active in acting. Some of his most recent projects have included the movie “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, “Collateral Beauty”, and Rough Night”. He is still active in television with some of his most recent shows including “Bloodline”, “Hap and Leonard”, and “The Saint” – a TV movie.
